Christopher Equipment is hiring a Lube Technician who treats preventive maintenance like a craft.

We’re looking for a steady, detail-oriented technician. Someone who:

• Keeps a clean, organized work area and respects the tools and equipment

What You’ll Do:

• Perform scheduled oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks on rental equipment
• Grease and lubricate heavy equipment and machinery to manufacturer specifications
• Inspect equipment for leaks, worn parts, loose fasteners, and safety concerns
• Check hydraulic, coolant, fuel, and transmission systems and document findings
• Assist mechanics with repairs
• Clean and prep equipment so it goes out to customers ready to work
• Maintain accurate service records and complete maintenance paperwork
• Load, unload, and move equipment around the yard and shop as needed
• Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and stocked
• Complete Annual Inspections on trailers, lifts, and other equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines on every job
• Help in other areas as needed

Job Requirements:

• Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
• Experience with diesel or heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong reliability and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors when needed
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Work Environment:

This position involves working in an active equipment rental and repair shop with exposure to machinery, tools, grease, oils, and outdoor job conditions. You’ll be on your feet, moving around the yard and shop, and working alongside a team that takes maintenance seriously.

Working Conditions:

Employees are expected to work a basic 40 to 50 hour week Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; may be required to work Saturdays 6:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Compensation:

Competitive pay based on experience. Bonuses, PTO, health insurance, employee discounts, retirement matching, and regular overtime are offered.
