Job Description

Join a dynamic and growing team specializing in the design and manufacture of conveyors and aggregate equipment. We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-quality products and ensure prompt delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for conveyors and aggregate equipment.

• Utilize AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks for 3D modeling and solid modeling tasks.

• Collaborate with a team of designers to ensure project milestones are met.

• Conduct testing and validation of designs to ensure they meet specifications and performance standards.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical design and machine design.

• Expertise in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks for 3D modeling.

• Strong understanding of solid modeling techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in designing conveyors is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

You will be joining a team comprising three designers and a manager. The company has recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art building, providing an exciting and innovative work environment. Interviews will be conducted onsite and will include a SolidWorks test to assess your ability to form parts using the software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOSINEE, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
