CNC Supervisor

Job Description

salary: $83,200 - $114,400 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience with CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience with machine setup, programming, troubleshooting, and operation
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and tooling specifications
  • Skilled with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Perform first article inspections and ensure all finished parts meet quality standards
  • Optimize CNC programs and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and routine machine inspections
  • Ability to manage multiple machining centers and production priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain accurate production, inspection, and labor tracking records
  • Coordinate with production, inventory, and purchasing teams to support workflow and material availability
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Train, mentor, and cross-train employees to improve productivity and workforce flexibility
  • Leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills
  • Ability to lead daily operations, meet production deadlines, and support continuous improvement initiatives
