Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Freelance UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, user-centric interfaces and seamless digital experiences that align with our product goals. You will work closely with our team to translate complex ideas into clean, functional, and visually appealing designs that drive user engagement.
This is an hybrid onsite role (visiting office once a week on weekend for 4 hours)

Working hours: 15 to 20 hours per week Remote

Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Strategy: Conduct user testing and analyze user feedback to iterate on designs and improve overall usability.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent.
- UI Design: Create visually stunning, cohesive interface designs that adhere to and evolve our established design system/brand guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and technical alignment.
- Design Systems: Maintain and contribute to our component library to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Iterative Optimization: Quickly iterate on design concepts based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design (portfolio submission required).
- Tool Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear process—from problem identification and wireframing to final high-fidelity UI design.
- Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first design strategies.
- Communication: Excellent ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design team members.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently in a remote/freelance environment while maintaining high communication standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for SaaS platforms or complex data-driven applications.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (to better communicate with development teams).
- Experience conducting remote user usability testing and data-driven design adjustments.
