Role Details:

CBS is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for our video infrastructure team. You will be an integral part of streaming the biggest sporting events in the world. To be successful at this job, you need to bring a winning attitude, technical coding skills, and an excellent work ethic.

Your-Day-to-Day:

? Develop new business-led features with an emphasis on full stack video functionality

? Integrate with backend services and APIs, ensuring reliable data flow across the stack

? Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to design cloud-native solutions

? Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning

? Write front end applications to allow data entry into the backend APIs

? Deploy periodic site updates to QA, stage, and production environments

? Perform code reviews with other engineers

? Work with AI Agents to develop new features and applications

Skills and Requirements

? Experience with React, NextJS, Typescript or Python frameworks

? Experience developing clean, maintainable UI components styled with Tailwind CSS

? Experience cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or OCI) - compute, storage, networking, serverless

? Experience with AI for building agents, skills, problem solving, coding and research

? Experience with data layer systems including relational and/or NoSQL databases (schema design, query optimization) including Mongo Atlas, MySQL, Redis or GraphQL

? Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows (branching, PRs, code review)

? Hands-on experience with Temporal for durable workflow orchestration

? Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

? BS Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical degree, or certifications

? 3+ years of Software Engineering experience building complex systems
