responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on mammalian cell culture workflows utilizing CHO systems and bench-scale bioreactors.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and analyze bioreactor performance parameters including cell density, metabolites, and nutrients.
• Design, execute, and troubleshoot independent laboratory experiments to support upstream optimization.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation, including laboratory notebooks and batch records, in compliance with internal standards.
• Write detailed experimental plans, protocols, and technical reports to communicate findings cross-functionally.
• Participate in a collaborative weekend and on-call rotation (approximately one weekend per month) to maintain cell lines.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant wet lab experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO cells) and bench-scale bioreactor operations.
• Strict proficiency in laboratory aseptic techniques.
• Demonstrated experience designing experiments and writing technical reports.

Preferred:

• Prior Biotech experience.
• Experience with perfusion systems (continuous culture) and bioreactor control systems (e.g., SCADA, DeltaV).
• Familiarity with ELN, LIMS, or statistical analysis software.
