Program Manager (Aerospace & Manufacturing)
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead aerospace and defense development programs from contract award through production readiness. This role is highly cross-functional and customer-facing, requiring strong leadership, technical awareness, and the ability to drive schedules, budgets, and deliverables in a manufacturing environment. 100% Onsite | Moderate Travel Required
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Business Unit leadership to drive end-to-end program execution
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Lead phase gate and action-driven meetings to track program progress and performance
Manage program budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
Coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure program success
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and performance metrics are met
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to keep programs on track
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within program management and product development processes
Top Requirements (Must-Haves)
5+ years of Program Management experience
background in aerospace and/or defense industry
Experience working in or closely with engineering and manufacturing environments
Strong experience with project planning, Gantt charts, and budget tracking
Proven ability to manage customer relationships and expectations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or related field preferred)
Experience managing complex technical programs
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and lead cross-functional teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project preferred)
Working knowledge of aircraft systems and aerospace manufacturing processes
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills

Split between office setting and manufacturing floor (CNC machining, assembly areas)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
