What You'll Do
As a Family Advocate, you will partner with families in Head Start and Early Head Start to set goals, overcome barriers, and connect with resources that support long-term stability and success. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, organized, and committed to helping children and families thrive.
Position Details
Full-time | Benefits eligible | Reports to the Family Services Manager
Key Responsibilities
· Build trusting relationships with families and help them set personal, educational, and vocational goals.
· Conduct family intakes, assessments, and ongoing progress reviews.
· Connect families with community resources, health services, and other supports.
· Coordinate parent meetings, team meetings, and family engagement activities.
· Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and follow-up records.
· Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to strengthen support for children and families.
What We're Looking For
· Associate degree in social services or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Family Services Certification through NHSA preferred or ability to obtain as required.
· At least 3 years of experience supporting families, coordinating services, or working in a related human services role.
· Strong communication, organization, and case management skills.
· Knowledge of community resources, family systems, and child-related regulations.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to pass required background and regulatory checks for working with children.

Compensation
Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
