Construction Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support ground-up multifamily construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to help drive project execution by supporting RFIs, submittals, scheduling, purchasing, and overall project coordination to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. You'll play a key role in reviewing plans and specifications, managing documentation, and assisting with quality control, layout, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Location & Work Environment:

• On-site role with projects across the Denver metro area (initial project in Golden)

• Approximately 50-hour workweeks

• Rotating Saturdays required to open job sites

Responsibilities:

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents

• Generate and manage RFIs and submittals

• Support purchasing and scheduling efforts

• Assist with contracts and change orders

• Perform layout, surveying, and quality control tasks

• Track project costs, progress, and documentation

• Collaborate with project teams to keep work on track

• Work up to 50 hours per week and rotate Saturdays as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or technical/trade school equivalent)

• 2-5 years of experience at a general contractor

• Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, and construction management software

• Strong communication and organizational skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
