Job Description & Tasks This job is for an experienced panelbeater/repair technician. From time to time we do take on apprentices, contact us to find out when we may next be doing so. * Complete quality and professional repair of vehicles in the allowed target hours. * Check all parts are correct before starting the repair by performing a trial fit up. Immediately document incorrect parts or other discrepancies including missing or additional parts and if extra time is needed and notify the Production Manager. * Repair work to meet quality and safety standards and the image of the company. Read the job sheet before commencing the job to ensure you fully understand the method of repair; if not sure of the repair method, seek more advice and ask questions. * Perform job as described and follow instructions on the job sheet. Tick each item on the job sheet at completion to review all items were completed. No job given to the Paint Department unless all items repaired as described on the job sheet and to 100% standard. * All items and parts stripped from the vehicle are labelled with job number and stored in the allocated parts bay. Place all parts to be painted with the vehicle when repairs are completed. Note on job sheet where the items are stored. * At reassemble, check headlight adjustment and other final alignments and adjustments prior to the car being delivered. * Complete quality check and sign off.
