Tuakau’s Little Stars has a unique opening for a Qualified and Registered ECE Teacher to join our tight-knit team. Located just outside Pukekohe, our centre is licensed for 48 tamariki and is proudly owned and managed by sisters who are also qualified teachers. Because we are an active part of the daily team, we understand the joys and challenges of teaching firsthand. When you join our team, you will enjoy: • Extended Pay Parity. • 3 hours of non-contact time per week. • A true Christmas break: We close for 2 weeks over the holiday period. • Your special day off: You do not work on your birthday. Who We Are Looking For: • We are seeking a professional who is grounded, reliable, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of children. • Fully Qualified & Registered: You must hold an ECE Teaching qualification and current registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. • Engagement & Heart: We need a "big-hearted" professional who is eager to get stuck in and build meaningful relationships. • A Sense of Humor: Our team values someone who can find the joy in the small moments and shares a laugh—it’s what makes our centre feel like home. • Reliable: This is a full-time position (up to 40 hours per week), with the ability to work shifts ending at 5:30 pm.
