As a result, this position includes regular travel to different job sites around the States. We are involved in a very unique and valuable form of construction, that has been largely pioneered in the last 30 years, and want to train that to others in our company. Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Superintendent or Construction Foreman to work on our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, work with and mentor construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, maintaining project timelines and goals.
  • Site Management: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor, air pressure, site progress and compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between project manager, clients, and architects, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily records of project progress, change orders, and safety meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Drivers license
  • Ability to travel and stay onsite for duration of a project
  • Ability to work in the field with the workers
  • Ability to learn to spray shotcrete

Education:

  • Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, MSHA, PMP) are a plus.
  • ACI certification for shotcrete preferred
