- Traveler Pay: $50–52/hr ($1,875 – $1,950 weekly) based on experience
- Local Pay: $43–46/hr ($1,612 – $1,725 weekly) based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee regional operational functions including Sterile Processing, Transportation, and Facilities services. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, regulatory compliance, workflow standardization, leadership development, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have extensive operational leadership experience in healthcare or related operational environments and demonstrate strong strategic, organizational, and team leadership skills.
- Provide leadership oversight across Sterile Processing, Transportation, and Facilities operations within the region
- Lead and develop site-level Directors, Managers, and Coordinators across multiple departments
- Establish regional priorities, operational goals, and performance standards
- Align operations with organizational strategy and growth initiatives
- Promote operational integration and collaboration across all service lines
- Ensure compliance with AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards across all regional sites
- Oversee regulatory inspections, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives
- Standardize workflows, documentation practices, and operational procedures
- Monitor operational performance trends and proactively address risks and inefficiencies
- Mentor and support operational leaders across departments
- Build leadership pipelines and succession planning initiatives in collaboration with HR and Talent teams
- Drive accountability, performance management, and leadership development efforts
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for leadership roles
- Oversee regional quality metrics, turnaround times, throughput, and service reliability
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning initiatives
- Identify and implement best practices across regional operations
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Serve as the regional operational leader in collaboration with healthcare partners and operational stakeholders
- Align operational services with customer expectations and service-level agreements
- Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Facilities leadership teams on organizational initiatives
- Represent regional operations during executive meetings, planning discussions, and growth initiatives
- CRCST certification or equivalent sterile processing certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of operational leadership experience required
- Minimum 5 years of multi-site leadership experience required
- Demonstrated success leading operations across multiple functions including SPD, logistics, facilities, or similar operational environments
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards and operational compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop operational leaders
- Experience managing and scaling operations across multiple sites
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
