Job Overview

Exotic Snack Guys is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in CONNECTICUT. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, has a passion for unique and international snacks, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience while helping drive sales and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude
• Educate customers about exotic and international snack products
• Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and new arrivals
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Restock shelves and ensure displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Support in-store promotions, events, and product tastings
• Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to company standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for snacks, food culture, or international products is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
