Job Description

POSITION: Philanthropy Manager, Annual Fund

REPORTS TO: VP of External Affairs

STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt, Hybrid

ABOUT BRENT’S PLACE

At Brent’s Place—the cornerstone program of the Brent Eley Foundation (BEF)—our mission is to provide more than housing; we create a home away from home for families facing cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. While their loved ones undergo treatment at local hospitals, we surround families with compassion, stability, and hope. Guided by our core values of compassion, integrity, respect, responsibility, and quality of life, we go beyond Safe-Clean accommodations to offer uniquely tailored programs and holistic support that nurture the entire family through their healing journey.

Joining our team means living these values every day and helping families find comfort, strength, and resilience during the most challenging times of their lives.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The heart of Brent’s Place is to provide a place of hope and healing for our families. This role plays an integral part in securing resources to drive mission delivery in three identified focus areas:

1. Mid-Level Donor Portfolio Management and Fundraising (50%) – Drive frontline fundraising by managing a portfolio of mid-level donors, building authentic relationships, and confidently soliciting gifts. Focus on increasing retention, upgrading giving, and moving donors toward deeper, long-term philanthropic commitment.

2. Annual Fund Strategy, Pipeline Development, and Campaign Alignment (30%) – Lead a strategic mid-level giving program that fuels Annual Fund growth while building a strong pipeline for major and campaign gifts. Align donor engagement, communications, and experiences with organizational priorities and campaign momentum.

3. Team Leadership, Data Integration, and Stewardship Oversight (20%) – Support the Senior Donor Relations Coordinator to ensure donor data, research, and stewardship are seamlessly executed. Champion a data-informed, donor-centered approach that delivers high-quality, personalized engagement at every touchpoint.

The Philanthropy Manager, Annual Fund, plays a critical leadership role in securing sustainable philanthropic support to advance Brent’s Place’s mission. This position is responsible for designing, growing, and managing a comprehensive mid-level giving program focused on donors contributing $1,000–$5,000, while building a strong pipeline of future major and campaign donors.

This role supervises the Senior Donor Relations Coordinator (SDRC) and ensures alignment between donor engagement strategies, prospect research, stewardship execution, and data-driven decision-making. ● Utilize SDRC-generated reports, dashboards, and analysis to inform fundraising strategy and decision-making.

● Ensure all donor interactions, strategies, and next steps are accurately documented in the CRM.
