Floral Designer and Processor

We are seeking an experienced Floral Designer & Processor to join our growing team. This role blends floral artistry with hands-on production, floral care, and presentation.

We are a premium floral and gift boutique known for floral and design artistry, and we’re looking for someone who can craft refined, naturalistic arrangements while also supporting daily floral operations.

This role plays an important part in both the beauty and functionality of the shop, ensuring flowers are cared for properly, presented beautifully, and ready for both customers and designers.

What You’ll Do

Floral Design

• Design custom floral arrangements for everyday orders, events, subscriptions, sympathy, and seasonal holidays
• Design vased arrangements, hand tied bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and other specialty pieces
• Interpret customer needs while producing thoughtful, high quality floral designs aligned with the Beehaus Blooms aesthetic
• Continue developing design skills including composition, balance, color, texture, movement, and technique
• Bring creativity, artistry, and thoughtful interpretation to each design, ensuring every piece feels intentional and aligned with our brand aesthetic
• Stay informed on floral trends, seasonal materials, and evolving design styles
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving design standards with a focus on consistency, quality, and a recognizable point of view
• Approach each arrangement as more than a product, designing pieces that feel meaningful, expressive, and worthy of the moment they are part of
• Support a culture of inspiration within the design team by sharing ideas, references, and creative perspectives
• Support workshops, installations, styled shoots, and event execution
• Assist with larger floral efforts during high volume periods and holidays
• Design in multiple mediums including fresh flowers and silk blooms

Floral Processing & Care

• Receive and unpack incoming flowers with care and attention
• Prep, process, clean, cut, hydrate, and prepare flowers for daily use
• Maintain exceptional quality control through all stages of floral prep, processing, and arrangement
• Ensure all flowers meet Beehaus Blooms quality standards and identify any concerns immediately
• Research and apply best practices for different flower types including specific handling, hydration, and conditioning needs
• Organize flowers for cooler display and designer usage in a way that supports efficiency, ease, design, and customer experience
• Clean flowers and prep vases as needed
• Support flower rotation, freshness, and inventory organization

Cooler Presentation & Shop Support

• Help maintain the overall presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the cooler
• Design and maintain cooler layout with attention to color, texture, and flow
• Ensure flowers are labeled clearly with name and price for customers
• Add secondary labels on vessels with arrival date to track freshness
• Contribute to visual merchandising and seasonal product displays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring floral studio and workspace

Customer Support

• Assist customers with floral selection and ordering
• When assisting customers provide a warm, thoughtful, and helpful experience aligned with Beehaus Blooms standards
• Support phone, online, and in-store floral orders as needed
• Interact with customers and assist with in-store service as needed

Team Support & Collaboration

• Work alongside designers, delivery drivers, retail staff, and leadership as part of a collaborative team
• Support daily floral production and preparation
• ommunicate clearly about flower quality, inventory, and any issues
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment
• Work collaboratively while also being comfortable working independently when needed

What We’re Looking For

• A detail-oriented Floral Designer who brings beauty to life through thoughtful floral design and presentation
• 3+ years of floral design experience and a floral design portfolio that supports this
• Confidence creating vased arrangements, hand tied bouquets, and elevated event work
• Strong understanding of color, texture, movement, balance, and scale
• Familiarity with floral care, seasonal blooms, and evolving design trends
• Ability to process flowers, organize cooler space, and maintain clean, efficient floral workspaces
• Comfortable working quickly and beautifully during high volume periods including holidays and events
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution
• Self motivated, dependable, and collaborative
• Friendly, service-minded, and able to communicate with customers comfortably
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with floral and retail teams
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move on your feet for extended periods
• Available during daytime hours, some Saturdays, and select holidays
• A positive attitude, team first mindset, and pride in your work
