Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and help foster a positive, compliant, and employee-focused workplace culture. The HR Generalist will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, policy implementation, performance management, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR files remain accurate and compliant
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Assist with performance management and corrective action processes
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain HR databases
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping as needed
  • Support workplace investigations and documentation when necessary
  • Participate in policy development and implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience required
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Department of Health background screening

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or human services settings

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
