We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our well-established team of experienced practitioners within a thriving Science Department.Our department is a collaborative, ambitious and highly supportive team, committed to delivering excellent outcomes for all students. We pride ourselves on a culture of shared expertise, where staff regularly work together to develop high-quality teaching resources and refine practice. The team is passionate about both subject knowledge and pedagogy, with a strong focus on continuous professional development, drawing on internal expertise and the latest developments in cognitive science to improve our collective practice.The Science Department comprises of 10 dedicated teachers and 3 highly valued technicians. We have a strong track record of developing teachers from Initial Teacher Training (ITT), through the Early Career Teacher (ECT) years, and beyond. Students benefit from well-resourced laboratories and a broad range of enrichment opportunities, including STEM clubs and educational visits, which foster curiosity and a love of science.We teach AQA A Level Biology and Physics, and OCR A Level Chemistry.
