Job Duties: Lead the development and execution of both short-term and long-term pricing and inventory strategies. Examine historical sales data in conjunction with real-time market prices to determine demand-supply dynamics on current inventory. Create pricing andinventory management recommendations and set price levels. Closely monitor sales trends and market sales. Create reportswith comprehensive price analysis at the season and individual event level. Adjust pricing and inventory in company ticketingsystems daily. Create datasets and visualizations to help identify pricing and inventory trends and monitor the health of themarketplace. Manage event level and season level sales, revenue, and attendance forecasting. Work closely with other analyticsteam members to identify trends and opportunities to implement differing pricing strategies. Supplement business intelligenceand application development staff to continually improve current tools and technology product offerings. Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Junior Pricing Analyst, or in a related position in an analytical or pricing related capacity. Full term of experience must include: Experience at a NHL, NBA, NFL, or MLB franchise/league office; Experience at a major entertainment venue; Performing data analysis using advanced formulas in MS Excel; Microsoft Office: Outlook, Power Point, Word; Structured Query Language (MySQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL); Python, R, Java, and google analytics; Archtics software; Data management and data visualization in Tableau; Evaluating, analyzing, and recommending pricing and inventory strategies; and Conducting statistical and quantitative analysis.
