Title: Logistics Coordinator/Simulation Operations Specialist

The primary function of the Logistics Coordinator (Simulation Operations Specialist) of the ISU/ IDCFS Child Protection Training Academy (CPTA) Simulations is to provide technical support, organizational management, assistance with classroom management, and support for the ongoing functions of simulation education.

Required Qualifications1.Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Two years of experience coordinating and scheduling required.
3. Working knowledge of video and audio equipment.
4. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
5. Demonstrated organizational skills in a professional setting.
6. Experience in technology troubleshooting and technical expertise.
7. Working knowledge of basic database systems such as Microsoft Access
8. Experience with Microsoft Professional Software Suite such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
9. Experience with setting up and operating video conferencing using virtual platforms.
1. Degree in Simulation Operations, Creative Technology, Arts Technology, Audio/Visual Technology or related field.
2. Working knowledge of audio-visual systems (i.e. Qsys).
3. Experience working within an academic, non-profit, or human service setting.
Work hours are generally, Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30pm. Position occasionally requires work beyond regular office hours. Position also requires in-state travel for meetings, training, and collaborations with other training sites.
Functional ExpectationsMust be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
