Sr Security/Technology Engineer

Seeking an experienced engineer to design low-voltage and integrated technology systems (security, communications, AV, fire/life safety, etc.) across new construction, renovations, and upgrades primarily on correctional facilities, prisons, courthouses, or "Justice" buildings. This role supports multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead system design, field assessments, and project deliverables

  • Manage project lifecycle: design, documentation, budgeting, and closeout

  • Ensure code compliance and quality control of drawings/specs

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineering teams

  • Oversee schedules, vendors, and staff engineers

  • Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)

  • Contribute to business development and stay current on emerging tech

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or related)

  • 10+ years of design/engineering experience

  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit, and MS Office

  • Ability to manage budgets, deadlines, and multiple projects PE or ability to obtain
