Job Title: RN - Stepdown (Cardio-Pulmonary)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Type: Contract | 8 Weeks (Temp to Permanent)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift (12-Hour Nights) | 36 Hours/Week | 3 Days/Week | 3x12 Hours

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Stepdown (Cardio-Pulmonary) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and care for patients with acute MI, CHF, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, and chest pain diagnoses
• Provide care for long-term ventilator dependent patients
• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Administer medications, infusion therapy, blood transfusions, and injections
• Provide central line care and respiratory support including Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and A-PAP
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Document nursing care accurately according to facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide culturally competent and age-specific patient and family education
• Support stroke patient care as part of the dedicated stroke unit

Qualifications

• Strong cardiac and pulmonary assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced stepdown environment
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring preferred
• Knowledge of ventilator support and non-invasive ventilation preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
• Diploma of Nursing required
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
• BSN preferred
• Ohio RN License or Compact State License required
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
