CBT Denver is a distinguished group psychotherapy practice dedicated to delivering top-tier mental health services through evidence-based psychotherapy. We have been serving the Denver metro area, Rocky Mountain region, and beyond for well over a decade.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PhD or PsyD level provider to join our team in providing evidence-based mental health treatment for children and adolescents. This position will primarily focus on clients ages 7-13 but experience in treating younger children and older adolescents is helpful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children and adolescents
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers through coaching and family-focused interventions
  • Participate in regular case consultation with our clinical team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Display a high level of communication, independent time-management, and organization
  • Display and openness to growth and learning as our practice expands with new and evolving client needs

Required:

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • Fully licensed in Colorado (or license-eligible)
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Openness to learning new modalities and receiving clinical feedback

Preferred Experience/Knowledge in:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • Parent coaching and family systems work

Clinical Areas of Focus:

  • Depression and anxiety disorders
  • OCD and related disorders
  • ADHD
  • Neurodiversity
  • School refusal
  • Peer and relational issues
  • Parenting issues
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

Position Details

  • Schedule: Flexible to discuss part-time/full-time (W-2/1099)
  • Work Environment: On-site office space available two-three afternoons/evenings per week, weekend scheduling is optional
  • Employment Type: We are open to both W-2 and off-site 1099/Benefits package is determined by employment status.
