Casual caregiver

The Home of St Barnabas Trust is a well established provider of residential rest home care and a community meals on wheels service within the wider Dunedin area. An opportunity has arisen for a casual caregiver to join our supportive team working in our 41 bed rest home. We require someone who has: Excellent standard in presentation and pride in their work. A knowledge and experience of providing personal cares and assistance would be helpful Ability to work in a team atmosphere and be flexible Availability to work shifts including weekends and nights Understanding of consistency and good time management in duties Empathy and commitment in the care to the elderly. A positive “can do” attitude with a solution focus within our team environment A good in-house orientation and training is received.
