Job Description

(Fixed Term, Full Time) About the Role: This is a fixed term position for approximately 13 months to provide cover for parental leave, and it is anticipated the successful applicant will start in August 2026. The role is full time, at 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Flexibility is a must, as additional hours may be needed to ensure deadlines are met. The Administration Officer is responsible for co-ordination and administration of Council meetings, secretarial and minute taking responsibilities, managing Council’s central filing system, and a variety of administrative duties including arranging catering for meetings and functions, and assisting with customer service. The applicant we are seeking will: * Have excellent minute taking, administration, and time management skills. * Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. * Have strong customer service skills, the ability to display initiative, motivation, great communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and be completely reliable. * Understand and demonstrate a high level of discretion and diplomacy with ability to maintain strict confidence on any Council matter of a sensitive nature.
