Buyer / Procurement Specialist Location: Gloucester, MA (100% Onsite — Blackburn Industrial Park)

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $28.35 / hour (W2)

Job Type: 1-Year Contract (With potential to extend or hire)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview Randstad is seeking a Procurement Specialist/ Buyer to handle purchasing and supplier relations at our global clients semiconductor facility in Gloucester, MA. In this role you will buy materials, manage vendor contracts (up to $5M portfolio), and work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to keep inventory at the right levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Order materials, parts, equipment, and services at the best price and quality.
• Send out RFQs, review quotes, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders.
• Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and approve vendor payments.
• Manage accounts with non-strategic suppliers.
• Fix any material-related accounting or shipping/receiving errors.
• Work with engineering to find and recommend new suppliers.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
• Experience: Background in purchasing or procurement.
• Software: Must have experience using SAP, SCV, or ARIBA.
• Skills: Good negotiation, data analysis, and inventory management skills.
• Soft Skills: Great communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work well under pressure.
