The Custodial Services Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Temporary Custodian position.
The Temporary Custodian will provide a clean, healthy, and attractive environment for the college students, faculty, staffs, and guests. Following efficient cleaning procedures to promote the appearance and good health of all areas assigned. Assists in reporting maintenance and safety concerns as noticed.
Minimum Qualifications
Required 2-3 years cleaning experience. Prefer 1 year minimum in institutional cleaning
Able to pass a criminal background check in order to carry college keys.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be able to read and understand product information labels, MSDS sheets, work orders, written instructions, etc.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team to carry out work assignments in a timely manner.
Able to use all types of custodial equipment needed in your area to complete the work properly and efficiently depending on the needs of the area such as: vacuum cleaners, back pack vacuums, rotary floor machines, burnishes, auto scrubbers, pressure washers, shower cleaning systems, extension poles, ladders, light duty spot extractors, etc.

Compensation:
Hourly wage is $17.70 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
