Hybrid BCBA/LBA Positions Available – Part-Time Cases

New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc. (NYTPS) is seeking dedicated and passionate Part-Time NYS Licensed BCBAs/LBAs to provide behavior intervention direct support services after school in the student’s home.

We have the following openings at the locations below:

(1) Location: Kings Park, NY

Home Case Position Details:

• Schedule: 2 hours/week, includes supervision and parent trainings
• 6-year-old client
• Pay Range: $80.00-$90.00 per hour (1099)

(2) Location: Farmingdale, NY

Home Case Position Details:

• Schedule: Saturdays for about 2 hours/week, includes supervision and parent trainings
• 9-year-old client
• Pay Range: $80.00-$90.00 per hour (1099)

(3) Location: Farmingdale, NY

Home Case Position Details:

• Schedule: 2-3 hours/week, includes supervision and parent trainings
• 7-year-old client
• Pay Range: $80.00-$90.00 per hour (1099)

(4) Location: Centereach, NY (3 different cases available!)

Home Case Position Details:

• Schedule: 2-3 hours/week, includes supervision and parent trainings
• Two 6-year-old clients and one 4-year-old client
• Pay Range: $80.00-$90.00 per hour (1099)

Your Role as a BCBA/LBA:

• Deliver direct behavioral support to students based on the specific needs of the student and family.
• Collaborate closely with families and related service providers.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and behavior support plans if necessary.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and contribute to the creation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) if needed.
• Utilize assessment tools such as the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP.
• Apply principles of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET).
• Track and analyze student progress using data collection systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation, submit progress summaries, and write detailed reports.
• Adapt to the physical demands of working with children, including floor activities, kneeling, running, etc.

What We’re Looking For:

• New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY-LBA).
• Availability after school hours in the home/community.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
• Solid understanding of ABA principles, behavior management techniques, and educational settings.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Compensation: $80 – $90 per hour
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
