Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York , NY 10029
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will perform ultrasound examinations, assist radiologists with imaging procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
- ARDMS Registration required
- ARRT Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- Associate Degree required
- Must have exact VU Ultrasound System experience
- Must have experience performing prostate sonography
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Perform ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
- Capture and transfer images through PACS systems
- Assist radiologists during imaging procedures
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment
- Ensure adequate inventory and supplies are available
- Schedule examinations and coordinate patient transportation if needed
- Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff
- Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging

- PACS Imaging Systems
- Patient Positioning & Care
- Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting
- Radiation & Electrical Safety Awareness
