Special Education Teacher – New York – 2026-2027 School Year
Nationwide | On-site | 2026-2027 School Year | Contract (1099)
Students with disabilities have a legal right to a free and appropriate public education. Delivering on that promise requires qualified special education teachers who understand IEPs, differentiated instruction, and what it takes to help every student access the curriculum.
The problem is that special education teaching is one of the hardest positions for districts to fill, and the shortage hits hardest in the communities with the greatest need.
For over 15 years, eLuma has been helping school districts protect instructional continuity for students with disabilities. We are building our network of credentialed special education teachers for the 2026-2027 school year and are looking for dedicated educators who want flexibility, strong support, and the chance to serve students who need them most.
If you are ready to make a real impact on your own terms, we want to hear from you.
