DevOps Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed Digital Solutions & Analytics implementation team. This role will focus on supporting internal project teams by managing configuration environments, build pipelines, and deployment tools to improve delivery efficiency. The position offers strong collaboration with both implementation and product development teams, with a focus on long-term system improvements and cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support configuration environments for internal implementation projects

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling

Partner with project teams to ensure efficient and scalable delivery processes

Collaborate with product development teams to enhance configuration environment components

Identify and implement long-term solutions to operational challenges

Support migration efforts from virtual server environments to AWS cloud infrastructure

Help define best practices and ways of working for a new DevOps team

This is a Hybrid role based is in Gothenburg Sweden and will have a yearly salary of 60,000-70,000 SEK.

No relocation offered; candidates must be local or relocate independently

Skills and Requirements

Strong experience supporting DevOps environments and processes

Proficiency in Python

Experience with Linux-based systems (RHEL, RPM-based deployments)

Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience working within AWS cloud environments

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab pipelines, GitHub Actions/workflows)

Experience working with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience with software testing frameworks (Behave, Gherkin)

Familiarity with documentation tools such as RST

Experience with VS Code extensions

Background working with aviation, crew planning, or operations software
