Join a large utilitys Grid Management team at the Grand Rapids Customer Service Center as an Engineer Technical Analyst to support critical utility reliability metrics. In this role, you will analyze outage events and perform key OMS data quality corrections to ensure operational integrity across asset and distribution systems. Additionally, you will participate in control room training and provide vital operational support during fast-paced storm and emergency events.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program to be considered. Success in this position requires strong critical-thinking skills and the definitive ability to read and interpret complex technical prints, schematics, and maps. You must also be an effective communicator who can remain calm, focused, and efficient when operating under limited supervision in high-stress environments.

responsibilities:
- Analyze outage events and perform OMS data quality corrections to secure accurate asset and operational metrics.
- Identify, validate, and correct data discrepancies impacting outage reporting and restoration analysis.
- Maintain exceptional standards of data integrity and operational awareness for LVD Operations.
- Complete dispatch and control room training covering substations, grid automation, and restoration schemes.
- Provide necessary support during storm and emergency events, including required overtime and travel.
