Special Education Teacher – Lexington, South Carolina Area
2026–2027 School Year

Elevation Healthcare is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district team in the Lexington, South Carolina area for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

All applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a South Carolina Special Education teaching certificate/licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
• South Carolina Special Education certification/licensure or eligibility to obtain certification
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate student records and progress monitoring
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially
