Special Education Teacher – Berkeley, South Carolina Area
2026–2027 School Year

Elevation Healthcare is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district team in the Berkeley, South Carolina area for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

All applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, South Carolina Special Education teaching certification/licensure along with an SC Educator Certificate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
• South Carolina Special Education certification/licensure or eligibility to obtain certification
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Adapt instruction and classroom strategies to support diverse learning styles
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress and interventions
• Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate student documentation and progress monitoring
