Description
The primary purpose of this position is to support MU Claims Innovation for the development of new protocols and new testing methods with varying degrees of complexity from initial set?up to reporting, timely completion of testing and methods, end of study results dissemination via technical reports and/or presentations.
Set up and execute Clinical Studies for Jumpstart and innovation projects.
Work with GCCS management/peers and brand leads to design clinical testing protocols.
Create, maintain, and review detailed data logs and provide data on a timely basis.
Provide ongoing updates to upper management of testing progress, and make progress direction recommendations when needed.
Assure that all Clinical studies are run in a timely and professional manner, according to GCP.
Prepare protocols, Informed Consent Forms and Case Report Forms.
Work with CROs for new protocol development and lab validation.
Stay current on cosmetic field trends and technological developments of data collection instrumentation.
Use expertise to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Independence of action and accountability (60 percent): support the brands' product development effort by have full responsibility over specific projects: from contributing to the protocol set up with the brand, to performing the study (with assistance from peers if needed), to analyzing and reporting the data.
Problem solving (40 percent): apply analytical skills to identify the appropriate methods to use to substantiate specific claims and to identify trends in the data, or alternative analyses that could lead to innovative approaches to claim support or simply innovative claims.
Qualifications
Degree in a science field, preferably Imaging Sciences
Knowledge of color science is a plus
Demonstrated independent thinking and problem?solving skills
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast?paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and precision in testing techniques
Excellent written, verbal, and customer service communication skills
