Production Operations Supervisor

Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor in Sioux City, Iowa who will supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to ensure that operations meet established safety, quality, and productivity standards. Additional responsibilities include: Manage daily production operations by planning, assigning, and monitoring work schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to meet operational and business objectives. Train and evaluate employees to ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food safety and quality regulations. Maintain and enforce sanitation, safety, and quality control programs, including HACCP and USDA standards. Oversee the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations. Identify and resolve production, quality, or equipment issues by coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to implement corrective actions. Analyze production data, performance metrics, and operational reports to recommend process, staffing, or workflow improvements that increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste. Maintain accurate production records and management reports, and promote effective communication, accountability, and teamwork within the department.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field. One (1) year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment required. Required experience to include one (1) year supervising or leading production employees and coordinating daily operations to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
