By joining our District 1 team, as a Safety Coordinator in McCracken County, you will have the opportunity to perform professional level work in coordinating the development and implementation of a safety and/or health program.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Conducts safety audits and investigations.
- Identifies and manages risks to health and safety in the workplace.
- Reports safety and health violation and investigative results with recommended corrective action.
- Coordinates and develops training programs.
Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In:
- Making oral presentations and conducting training sessions for small to large groups.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Graduate of a college or university with an accredited bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years in safety operations or inspection, incident management, or emergency services.

Additional position information: Travel required, sitting at a desk, field visits to project sites which require the following of safety procedures, bending/stooping/lifting, management/supervision of a team.
