Nassau County, NY (Hybrid Schedule) = In Office 2 days a week, Remote 3 days (M/W/F). Must live commutable to Nassau County, Long Island
9:00am-5:30pm shift
Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for supporting full-cycle AP functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Process high-volume invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) and ensure proper coding
- Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues
Qualifications- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, and payment cycles
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a strong plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
