Licensed Therapist

Mid-America Psychological Services is an independently owned and respected group practice serving Portage and surrounding communities since 1984. We are currently seeking compassionate, motivated therapists to join our growing team as independent contractors.

We are especially interested in clinicians with experience and specialties in:

• Adolescents and teens
• Couples and family counseling
• Substance use and co-occurring concerns

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Utilize electronic health record and telehealth systems
• Participate in bi-monthly staff meetings

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Michigan license:
• LP
• LLP
• LMSW
• LPC
• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Full-time availability preferred (25–30 clients/week), though part-time applicants will also be considered
• Experience working with adolescents, families, couples, and/or substance use treatment strongly preferred

Position Details

• Job Type: Contract / 1099 Independent Contractor
• Pay: Compensation based on client caseload and fee split structure.
