Job Title: Travel Diagnostic Tech / Phlebotomist – Cardiology
Location: Hyannis, MA
Position Type: Contract
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Diagnostic Tech / Phlebotomist – Cardiology for an exciting Travel assignment in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood and collect/transport clinical specimens to the laboratory
- Verify patient identity prior to specimen collection
- Perform EKGs, Holter Monitor placement, and Stress Testing per protocol
- Complete required lab documentation, cardiac test orders, and billing information
- Document testing information accurately in hospital systems and departmental logs
- Communicate workflow updates, order changes, and technical issues with clinical staff
- Assist nursing units with specimen collection and testing support
- Maintain PPE compliance and follow hospital safety standards
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized testing/work areas
- Participate in quality assurance activities, staff meetings, and departmental support functions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) required
- EKG Certification required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Preferred) - Acute care hospital experience .
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
