RSVP Volunteers is a nonprofit organization serving Montgomery, Chester, and Philadelphia counties. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers to meet critical community needs in education, wellness, digital literacy, and nonprofit capacity building. RSVP's Digital Literacy program aims to equip local organizations and individuals with free digital skills knowledge. Topics help adults safely and comfortably use their devices.

Digital Literacy Volunteer Coordinator

Reports To: Digital Literacy Program Manager and Director of Communications and Outreach

Status: Part-Time (25 hours/week), Hybrid (Local - remote with occasional in-person meetings in King of Prussia, PA)

Position Overview

RSVP is seeking an organized, outgoing, and self-motivated Digital Literacy Volunteer Coordinator to support and manage volunteers delivering digital literacy training across community partner sites, while also supporting RSVP Volunteer Services in the collection and tracking of volunteer service hours through partner agencies. This role works closely with both program areas and focuses on volunteer coordination, communication, scheduling, and program support from initial inquiry through placement and ongoing engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Coordination & Engagement

· Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, programming inquiries and community partners

· Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training assignments in the Learning Management System

· Match volunteers to opportunities based on skills and availability

· Maintain regular communication and organize meetings/trainings

· Support volunteer retention and engagement efforts

Scheduling & Program Coordination

· Manage scheduling system and assign volunteers to opportunities

· Coordinate logistics with partner organizations

· Ensure clear communication between volunteers, partners, and staff

Data Tracking & Reporting

· Maintain accurate records of volunteers, placements, and partners

· Track Digital Literacy volunteer hours and participation

· Manage and track hours from RSVP Volunteer Services partner stations to maintain strong relationships and ensure accurate reporting and documentation

· Collect, track, and maintain accurate client outcome data to support program evaluation and reporting requirements

· Provide reports and updates to Program Managers

Outreach & Partnership Support

· Assist with outreach to new and existing partners

· Represent RSVP at community events as needed

· Support identification of new volunteer opportunities

Program Support

· Assist with maintaining and updating the Learning Management System (LMS), including training content and course assignments

· Provide basic technical support and guidance to volunteers related to training tools, platforms, and program systems.

· Support administrative and program improvement efforts

Qualifications

Required

· Associate degree or equivalent experience (2+ years)

· Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and program management skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams and other digital tools, e.g., Canva, Vimeo

· Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and with a team

Preferred

· Experience coordinating volunteers or programs

· Experience with LMS or scheduling tools

· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

· Curriculum development and editing skills a plus

· Interest in digital literacy or community-based programs
