Environmental Specialist

Pride Health is seeking an Environmental Specialist for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Location: St. Paul, MN (On-Site)
Job Type: Contract
Length: 12-Months
Hours: 40 hours/wk, 8 hours/day
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.60 per hour

Overview:

· Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.

· Includes all major EHS activities, so that it can be applicable to individuals with a variety of EHS responsibilities.

· Identifies, initiates, plans, recommends, promotes, and implements broad EHS programs and projects at Division/Business/Region/Corporate level.

· Independently identifies required plans, business justification, resources, schedules, and interactions to accomplish objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct activities to support the regulatory compliance, Life Cycle Management and sustainability requirements for existing and new products.

· Support customer response processes which includes authoring standardized responses for customer inquiries.

· Provide support to division annual product EHS testing program – sample collection, prep, and mailing.

· Maintaining documentation relevant to assessment of risk to human health and the environment.

· Support creation of TSCA Compliance Plans

· Effectively managing activities sensitive to matters of confidentiality / non-disclosure.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering field.

· Works well in teams, an individual contributor, as a facilitator, and leader.

· Collaborating within and outside the organization, at all levels, both locally and globally

· Ability to lift up to 50lb (sample prep)

· Ability to conduct repetitive tasks/motions (sample prep)

· Customer engagement

· Attention to detail

· External communications
