Location: Needham, MA
Pay Rate: Up to $53/hour (based on experience)
Duration: 13-week contract to start (potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This role focuses on promoting health, safety, and overall well-being while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring
- Administer and oversee medications and treatments
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Support individuals with chronic conditions and preventative care needs
- Train and guide staff on medical protocols and best practices
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and safety standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in developmental disabilities, community health, or long-term care preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in a community-based environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
