Description
Join our dynamic team at Pulaski Community Middle School, where collaboration and innovation thrive! We're seeking a passionate educator who loves working in a middle school environment, fostering growth and learning among students. Be part of our supportive community, collaborating with both house teachers and content-driven teams to create an enriching educational experience for all. This will be a 7th grade position.
Qualifications:

  • A current teaching license

  • Knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities

  • The ability to maintain a positive learning environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Current First Aid/CPR certified or must obtain

  • Demonstrated ability to:

  • work collaboratively

  • carry out emergency/crisis response procedures

  • perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position

  • maintain confidentiality

  • communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons

  • Commitment to the Pulaski Board of Education Educational Philosophy

  • Demonstrated skills in positive human relations and cultural competence

  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict management
