Senior - Principle Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior or Principal Project Manager to support a rapidly expanding Transmission portfolio. This role requires a candidate who can step in and operate at a high level immediately, managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal ramp-up time.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in transmission, utility, or construction project management, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Strong communication and stakeholder management are critical, as this role interfaces with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.

Skills and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field of study with five (5) years qualified experience or, two-year Associate's degree in the same required disciplines with seven (7) years of qualified experience (see below).

• Project Management experience within Transmission, Electrical Utility, or Power Systems

• Experience managing large, complex construction or infrastructure projects

• Proven ability to ramp quickly and perform in a fast-paced, growing project environment

• Experience with:

o Project planning, scheduling, and budgeting

o Cost control and forecasting

o Stakeholder management (internal & external)

o Risk management and quality control

Education & Experience Requirements (by level):

• Project Manager:

o Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant experience

o OR Associate's degree + 5 years relevant experience

• Senior Project Manager:

o Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience

o OR Associate's degree + 7 years relevant experience

• Principal Project Manager:

o Bachelor's degree + 7 years relevant experience

o OR Associate's degree + 9 years relevant experience Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
