JOB REQUIREMENTS: Application Consultant, Rockwell Automation, Inc.,

Milwaukee, WI: Support sellers in engaging engineering, operations, and procurement to influence them to value Rockwell Automation as a delivery partner. Improve growth at target customers for the solutions business and be involved during the negotiation phase of a project. Lead scope definition, articulate differentiators and values versus competition for designated product, service or solution. Work with other Application Consultants in the process capability or who specialize in drive systems. Work with Sales, Consultants and Specialists to assess and respond to IT/OT, engineering, consulting, project and support services opportunities. Forecast the process, hold opportunity cadence reviews with distributor partners and manage their funnel. Manage the process from Bid Request, Information gathering, Scope definition, Solution design and costing, and Approvals. Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, Sales Specialists, Engineering, Services, and your peer proposal teams regional/global. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. \*\** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in engineering or a technical related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Must have 8 years of experience in each of the following: Pre-sales, direct sales, or consulting experience as an estimator; Proposal engineer or other contract, project, or application engineering-focused position; and Industrial manufacturing control systems or process control expertise. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Medium voltage drives; and Programmable logic controller expertise. Domestic travel required up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days per week.
