Senior Java Developer - Hybrid Onsite (Open to W2 and CTC contractors - visa sponsorship available!)

Potential Contract to Hire

LOCATION: Needham or Boston MA. Must be in the office 4 days a week.

**Keys to the position**

  • Ideally 10+ years of software development experience using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Multi-threaded applications, concurrency, Restful webservices, Java 11 or higher
  • AWS is a +

  • Github Copilot experience is a +
We are growing our engineering team and this position requires a high level of collaboration and interaction with our other technology partners across the department, and an ability to deliver in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Responsible for the technical design, implementation, deployment, and support
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, issue identification, and risk management
  • Partner with the Architecture team to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the enterprise
  • Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends, including AI-assisted development tools, to ensure systems and team are of the highest caliber
