Maintenance Technician

Superhost Hospitality - Embassy Suites Naperville

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key member of the team responsible for keeping our hotel safe, functional, and comfortable for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel systems and equipment.
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, boilers, fire safety systems, elevators, and pool equipment.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
  • Assisting in the setup, repair, and upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Able to quickly identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and good task management.
  • Works well with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance technician role in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Availability for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other technical trades are a plus.
