Position Purpose:

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced Educational Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is highly preferred.
2. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership roles in a manufacturing setting, with over five (5) years of experience leading teams in high-volume, industrial environments.
3. Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, with proven experience in implementing lean principles and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Technical Proficiency: Extensive background in computerized numerical control (CNC) machinery, with demonstrated expertise in advanced machine tool technologies. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software is an asset.
5. Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, including cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement.
6. Change Management: Skilled in leading organizational change initiatives, with experience in developing strategic plans to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Minimum Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory for the Group Leader position. While an Associate degree is advantageous, candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment to fulfill the educational prerequisites for this role.
Preferred Education:
An associate degree in a relevant field such as manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, in addition to the mandatory high school diploma or GED.
