CMHA is looking to hire a full-time Marketing & Communications Manager for our External Relations team. This position will be located at 233 Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM.

Compensation Range: The annual salary range for this position starts at $74,000.

Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. CMHA also takes into consideration our benefits and paid time off package to provide a well-rounded and competitive approach to the applicant’s overall compensation.

Summary: The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director and Marketing and Communications team to develop and execute strategic plans to promote the agency, services, programs, and brands, aimed at increasing visibility, client acquisition, and increasing overall revenue.

  • Create, develop, and implement marketing and communications strategies to enhance CMHA’s and Flourish’s overall messaging, branding, and presence.
  • Co-Manage social media calendar(s) and campaigns through creative and engaging posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) working closely with the Marketing and Communications team (Digital Content Specialist).
  • Track industry trends, report on metrics, and identify new strategies to enhance all marketing efforts, including websites, social media channels, video, and electronic communications.
  • Provide consistent public messaging across all communication channels working closely with the Marketing Team in the development and maintenance of the “CMHA Voice.”
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and various advertising channels (social media, billboard, transit, print) as well as the agency communities at large.
  • Support recruitment efforts through engaging in social media and advertising creatives by working closely with Human Resources.
  • Assist in managing donor and community contact databases and develop/distribute newsletters through CRM software program in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of internal and external events.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications/PR/Business or relevant concentration;
  • Master’s Degree strongly preferred.

Credentials and Licenses:

Valid Connecticut driver’s license and reliable transportation.
